Other ways to get involved
Inform yourself about FGC and what is being done to tackle the issue. Our website is full of information and is being constantly updated. We are also working to lobby governments and international organisations – such as the UN and the WHO – to acknowledge the importance of the international campaign against FGC, and to offer more resources specifically for ending the practice.
There are also a number of charities working to end FGC. Below are a few that are either dedicated solely to ending FGC or have strong projects working for this cause:

Hi I’m an American student who is 16 yrs. old and would love to bring this to attention to the volunteer organization I’m apart of. Many people do not really care about what’s going on or just not well-informed. This hurts me to see this little girls stolen of their womanhood and chance to experience life and all its wonders. I strongly believe the U.S. needs to open their eyes to this because it has leaked into out country as well. I would love to bring this idea to the group to raise money. Can you give me some information on how to get in contact with you all plz???
